Hi, I'm Ryan - a user-driven designer specialising across a range of disciplines including interface, motion & functional design.

Since late 2014 I have been living in Paris, where I have been designing and developing the user-interface, user-experience and digital content for Dual Universe, a groundbreaking sci-fi MMO.

I arrived in France from the UK with experience working for a high energy digital agency that specialized in bespoke digital solutions for renowned global brands.

With a BA(Hons) in Interactive and Motion Design, and extensive freelance work under-my-belt I have been crafting elegant creative solutions and playful experiences for 15 years.

Lead UI/UX


Responsible for the development of the user-interface on an upcoming MMO. My role has been to develop the UI pipeline and accommodate UX needs. From the initial concept, design and prototyping, through to the development and final execution, my role covers the full spectrum of UI design.

Senior UI/UX & Motion Designer


Lead creative in supplying content managed marketing communication. Experience in digital in-store screen strategies and creative components; screens, lightwalls, touchscreen displays, motion posters, tablets. Fulfilled clients' communication objectives via creative channels. Designed marketing messages, branding, user interfaces, social media outlets, inspiring digital displays, ambient graphics, and engaging customer journeys.

Freelance Digital Designer


Since 2004 I have been creating computer-generated imagery on a variety of projects across multiple industries. From computer games to television my work has been a journey through many areas of design. From making title sequences, motion graphics, 3D floorplans, 2D logos, video game assets and motion tracking.

At Cardiff School of Creative Industries, I attained a 2.1 degree with honours in art theory and critical studies. My dissertation A Deadly Weapon; the Art of Persuasion focused on the government agencies who used art as a tool of mass persuasion to help sell their ideologies in the early 20th century.
